Rockstar Games has officially confirmed that Grand Theft Auto VI launches on November 19, 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The date was shared through the Rockstar Newswire and the company's official channels.

After being shifted from earlier windows, Rockstar has set the release for November 19, 2026, as confirmed in the November 6, 2025 Newswire update.

Rockstar has not announced a PC release date at this time. Historically, Rockstar's PC versions arrive after the console launch.
Pre-orders and pre-load
Pre-orders begin at midnight local time on June 25, 2026, including a Grand Theft Auto VI: Ultimate Edition. Digital pre-orders can pre-load starting November 12, 2026. Physical copies (with a download code in the box) also ship from November 12 to support pre-loading.
